New Flavor at Graeter's

Graeter's is an institution around here, right? Me, I'm a bigger fan of Aglamesis (check out 5chw4r7z's recent photo review), but I won't pass up Graeter's raspberry sorbet. They're introducing a new flavor-- for charity!-- this weekend. It's called Elena's Blueberry Pie, and has blueberries and pie crust in vanilla ice cream and benefits pediatric brain cancer research. It sounds like Graeter's is going a little Ben and Jerry's on us-- with different flavors and a charitable approach. I'm not complaining.

What's your favorite ice cream in town? I still miss the Ben and Jerry's that used to be on UC's campus-- loved their banana rum ice cream. I also like the flavors of Madisono's gelato.

Aglamesis is the best ice cream. Thank goodness our Kroger's carries it! However, I will definitely stop by Graeter's for some Blueberry Pie. What a wonderful cause.

Aglamesis' cinnamon ice cream is outrageously good. I also like going to the ice cream shop in Oakley and getting pineapple sorbet with pineapple topping. Mmmm.

It is a great cause! I wonder, though, what percentage of the proceeds goes to the cause.

Although I don't eat much sugar, I believe it is the cause of many of todays health and diet issues, I do love a dip on occasion, mint chip is my weakness. One place I have trouble passing is the Sweet Tooth in Newport. A classic soda fountain and family owned.

sounds really yummy! can't wait to try it.

my personal graeter's favorite is coconut chip. don't get to aglamesis very much...but the cinnamon sounds like it would be worth the drive.

I am a Graeter's girl. I love anything with chunks of chocolate in it. I've never been let down with my choices.

I love graeter's choc choc chip, buckeye blitz and peppermint stick (wish it was available year round.)

They do a good egg nog and pumpkin in the fall.

Aglamesis - i love love love their raspberry, champagne and coconut sorbets. It's around the corner from my home so I have to refrain from going too crazy there.

Their sundaes are phenomenal too - they've got a "bourbon street" sundae w caramel, hot fudge and marshmallow toppings.

Out of this world!!

I don't mind Graeter's, but, in Ohio, I have yet to find anything to beat Jenni's in Columbus... If you cant a chance, get to the North Market and try it!
